First find the numbers for the lemon and apple. Then use them an apply some math on the numbers in triangles.
Show answer
let lemon = L, apple = A
A + 2L = 24
L - A = 6
=> A + 2(6 + A) = 24 => A + 12 + 2A = 24 => 3A = 12 => A = 4
Then L - 4 = 6 => L = 10
Now lemon = 10, apple = 4
Triangle pattern: Top number - lower right number = lower left number
3L - 5A = L => correct
6A - 2L = 4 => correct
AL - 30 = ? => 40 - 30 = 10
Correct answer: C (because lemon = 10)
